The best time to visit Antelope Canyon is between the end of March and the beginning of October. In terms of the best time of day to visit the canyon, going between 11 am and 1:30 pm. This will give you the highest chance of seeing Antelope Canyon light beams in the Upper section of Antelope Canyon.
The Weather
During the summer months, the canyon can reach temperatures of over 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Visitors to the canyon should be prepared for extreme heat. Sunscreen and hats to protect themselves from the sun are advised
. In the winter, Antelope Canyon can be extremely cold, with temperatures dipping below freezing at night. Despite the extreme temperatures people from all over the world visit
Hiking
The canyon is often considered a difficult hike because of its steep and narrow trails. However, the hike is only difficulty if you are not prepared for it. It is a slot canyon, which means that it is a narrow, deep canyon that is cut into the earth by water erosion. The walls of the canyon are very steep and can be as high as 30 feet in some places.
The trail is also very narrow in places, making it difficult to pass other hikers. Be prepared for a challenging hike. It can be a lot of fun. Just be sure to bring plenty of water and snacks, and wear sturdy shoes.
Which area of the canyon is the best
