Create Acrylic Prints from James Webb

Who built it

The James Webb telescope is being built by Northrop Grumman and the European Space Agency. The telescope is scheduled to launch in 2021 on an Ariane 5 rocket from Kourou, French Guiana.

The telescope is one of the most advanced astronomical telescopes ever made. It is designed to observe the most distant objects in the universe and will provide scientists with unprecedented views of the cosmos.

The James Webb Space Telescope is a large, infrared-optimized space telescope, to be launched in 2021. It will be the successor to the Hubble Space Telescope. The JWST will have a larger mirror than Hubble (6.5 m diameter) and will operate at longer wavelengths (0.6-28 μm). These characteristics will allow the JWST to detect light from the first stars and galaxies that formed

Who is it named after

The telescope is named after James E. Webb, who served as the second administrator of NASA from 1961 to 1968. The telescope is a joint project of NASA, the European Space Agency, and the Canadian Space Agency. Construction of the telescope began in 1996 and it is scheduled to launch in 2021.

The telescope is estimated to have cost approximately $8.8 billion. It is the most expensive scientific instrument ever built. The  telescope is considerably larger and more powerful than the Hubble Space Telescope. It is designed to operate at infrared wavelengths and will be able to detect objects that are billions of light years away. The telescope will provide scientists with new insights into the formation and evolution of galaxies, stars, and planets.

What will it do

It will be able to see objects that are much farther away than any other telescope. It will also be able to see objects that are much fainter than any other telescope. The telescope will have a primary mirror that is 6.5 meters in diameter. The mirror will be made of beryllium and will be coated with gold. The telescope will also have a secondary mirror that is 2.4 meters in diameter.

The launch date has been delayed several times and the cost of the project has increased from $4.5 billion to $9.66 billion. The James Webb telescope is currently the most expensive scientific instrument ever built.

The James Webb telescope will be operated by the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. The institute is also responsible for the operation of the Hubble Space Telescope.

The James Webb telescope is designed to study the most distant objects in the universe. It will also be able to study the atmospheres of exoplanets. An exoplanet is a planet that orbits a star other than our sun. The James Webb telescope will be able to detect the presence of water vapor and other chemicals in the atmospheres of exoplanets.

The telescope is also designed to study the formation of galaxies and the evolution of stars. The telescope will be able to observe the most distant galaxies in the universe. It will also be able to study how stars are born and how they die.

How Large Can I Print the James Webb NASA Images?

The images available for download on the Webb Telescope website are available in very high resolution. In fact, the largest files they offer are too large to work with and would surpass our 100MB and 100 megapixel image upload limits.  To assist you, we have composed images that you can use to print that will look amazing, all the way up to our largest sizes such as 60- 40 inches or larger

You  can also make smaller prints with these same digital images. One thing to remember is that when you print an image smaller, the printable DPI will be higher, but you will also be looking at it from a shorter viewing distance.  If you find an image you like and are unsure of the size – just contact us and we will consult on the image. We also have a software that can increase file  size if you want a really large acrylic or metal
